“Honestly I wish the plastic cage on the 82 ft unit was about 2" larger on the circumference -- when retracting, the hose binds as it wants to bunch up on one side or the other -- if the cage had more room the hose could bunch up and still not bind... once it bunches and binds you have to mess with it it get it to retract.
My 'fix' for this is to 'work with' the hose when it retracts by going up to the box and guiding the hose left/right/left as it's retracting so it spools up evenley and doesn't bind...”
“Once installed, on my brick wall, the unit has worked flawlessly. I can see why they do not sent hardware to mount the unit as I hung mine on an exterior brick wall, other reviews have it hung on wooden posts. Even though it is only 1/2” it has plenty of pressure to water the farthest flowers I have, over 50 Ft away, with no issues.”
