“Overall, I am very happy with my first experience of painting by numbers. I am about 75% finished with this painting and I loved seeing how it all comes together. Actually, I am perhaps unjustifiably proud of myself.
Meanwhile, I am having some difficulty with the texture of some of the paints. It is rather thick and clumpy. I tried adding a couple drops of water and stirring with a toothpick, but it just doesn't flow nicely off the brush. Still too thick. Is there something else I could do? Or if I keep adding water, will it eventually become a good constency? Thanks for any help you might lend. Also, I have a photo I would like to have you turn into a Masterpiece paint by number.”
“Having traveled on trains I looked forward to painting this scene. It was a lot of fun. Memories of vacations came to mind as I painted. It is a beautiful painting, one I will place in a frame and display in my home. Initially I ordered two paintings, enjoyed them so much I ordered nine more! I will be painting long past the time Covid is behind us. It is a great activity. As I sit in my easy chair I place the canvas on my lap supported by plexiglass and paint the night away. Lacking a desk lamp where my easy chair is located, I use a little hand-held flash light to paint by, works great! Also, there is always sufficient paint. However, have ordered 11 paintings now I have an plenty of leftover paints if I ever need to supplement.”

“This is my third painting from MBN. I tried to copy the original and only use the numbers as guides to keep the scale correct. I quit smoking about Two months ago and these paintings have helped me tremendously to keep busy and occupied while dealing with becoming a non Smoker. I ordered three more paintings. I’m hooked. These paintings have really became a life saver for me.
I never painted before and I’m glad I found Masterpiece By Numbers for helping me go from a bad habit to a healthy and rewarding one.

“I loved doing this painting. As always the materials provided were excellent. This particular painting was not as challenging as the last one (Peace River Cabin) as it was not as detailed. However, it was much more relaxing. The canvas provided was of excellent quality and the paints (with a couple of exceptions) were plentiful and also of excellent quality. The exceptions were the "browns" (numbers 8 & 15). The came off the brush in a mottled manner and even going over larger areas two or three times left me unsatisfied with the result.
I gave this as a gift to a friend who is getting ready to retire from working on railroads/trains for many years.”
