This painting was my first one and it took me approximately 1 month to complete. When I completed the painting I was very happy at the results. The painting turned out magnificent.

This is the first of I hope many I will paint. It is addictive and very calming. I have completed it and would like to note the following: It was a bit difficult but that is what I enjoyed. I had a few issues in that the consistency of the paints was different, i.e., some went on really well while others seem to be thicker. The second was that I ran out of number 9, even though I tried to make it last. Finally, there were many "white spots" even though I put a second coat of paint throughout. I still have not mastered that (any suggestions?). I am working on my second. I have a third one waiting for me as well. So happy I started this--it is a great, new hobby!!!
