Venice Canal Framed With Stand Reviews

I'm pleased with my result. I took a few liberties with some details. Years ago I tried a paint by numbers using oil paints. Oil paints are great but they get everywhere. On your face, shoes, walls, etc. I am looking forward to being able apply a matt finish to the canvas and getting it framed. Next project is your other Venice portrait painting.

Easy painting to do, I had 2 paints that were dry, I just kept adding water to make it work.

When I first started painting this, I found out that the brushes supplied with this kit were of a low grade. They easily seperated the tip from the stem. Also found that a few of the colors have dried up, and I had a hard time using them to paint that number. Enjoyed painting this and the end result was good. Was imposable to contact the company for replacement paint. Will see what the next brings.

It was a delight to paint and very easy to follow!

I do like this finished product but it’s a bit dark. Also, a thinner brush would made the tiny detailing better.

I don't consider this painting to be quite as hard as one of the others I have done. It could be that there is a lot of detail on another painting I am currently working on so this one seemed a little bit easier to me after I started working on it.

Just started working on the project. I'm new to this so am still learning best way to do the painting . What best brushes to use ect. The canvas is great and easy to see numbers. So we will see how it turns out. Will give a better update when done.

The kit arrived quickly, and all appears as advertised. Good quality canvas, with paints and brushes all ready to go. It is, however, much more difficult than I expected. While I have done a lot of drawing over the years, I've never done much of any painting (artistically, that is), and I'm finding it difficult to make the paint do what I want it to do and stay within the lines. The paint flows best when heavy on the brush, but that's when it's toughest to stay in the lines on the smaller sections--let it thin out, and you have to keep going over the same spot to fill it in. In other words, the quality of the kit is very good; the difficulty is in the doing, at least with me. The company did their part well--I would be happy to recommend the product to others.
