I loved painting this particular image because it reminded me of being in Paris. I rspecially loved the people in the distance near the Eiffel Tower. Took about 3 weeks to complete. I only wish to get a thinner brush. The widest one you send isn’t necessary.

The finished product doesn't look anything like the picture on the website. The lack of detail is very disappointing. Example: there is a tree in the background and my painting has no limbs and just looks like a peach colored cloud. The colors are not as vibrant as what I expected. The red is really orange, I will have to spend hours adding the details to be able to hang this in my house. None of the lines are straight either. Even on the buildings which makes it look like a child painted it. That said the process of doing the painting was very therapeutic and I really enjoyed that.

I finished my 4th MBN artwork last week. I found this one a little harder than my earlier three paintings partly because there were human figures involved, but mainly because since the final product would have been closer to the impressionist style painting that we get, I wanted mine to resemble the original painting instead. So I used some of my own paint, including the ones provided, and tweaked/picked the colors that closely resembled the original. This also included fine tuning the details of the surrounding structures, furniture, and even the flowers. It took me about 5 weeks to finish it Having said that, I still love painting these MBN paintings not only because it helps to pass the time and is relaxing, but also because of the various artwork options available. I love it so much that I have 13 more MBN paintings to work on. To complete my lake themed set, my next piece will be Lakeside Retreat.

I truly enjoyed working on this canvas. I loved watching the hidden people appear with the magic of the brush. The flower shoppe and sidewalk cafe, and of course the Eiffel Tower came to life as I just followed the numbers. It brought back memories of our time in Paris. My French original is framed and hanging in our family room.

I’ve completed several paint by numbers kits before from other companies, and this one had the best paint by far. Only two colors needed multiple coats. I’d recommend purchasing a set of the black brushes as an add on - they were pretty good quality! Overall, the painting ended up being pretty abstract for my liking, so I improvised a bit. This is the finally product, after improvising. I’d purchase another kit from this company.
