“I normally go through standard hats very quickly as I wear them while working around the house. In a few days the sweat stains make the hat look like a salt factory. These are cheap hats but I go through them too quickly. The merlin hat is pricey but if I start to see any sweat stains I take in the shower with me and use a scrubby to clean it and let it hang to dry. When dry the hat looks like new. I have also worn the hat in a salt water pool and if any salt stains show up I clean the hat in the shower again.”

“Love the look of the hat but it’s a very heavy on your head feeling hat. The size doesn’t quite work out for me. One snap feels to tight and the next size feels loose. Overall quality made hat but I’ll pass next time.”
