“I got this hat for a birthday gift after my husband really wanted one.
At about a month with only wearing it outside and not using it for fitness or strenuous activities, there is already sweat stains that show through the hat. For the price of these hats I find that ridiculous.”
“Purchased a hat that was received with a large crease. I contacted customer service and they were incredibly nice and helpful, even responded to me on a Sunday!? The customer service rep was named Medel who took great care of me even to recommend some ways to get the crease out DIY style!”
“5 stars for the hats. I have 5 of them and I love them all. I have a small head so I get the small size and they fit great. Surprisingly each one I have fits SLIGHTLY different though, which is a bit odd. Still the only hats I’ll wear.
Now, let’s talk about the shipping. I didn’t realize FedEx still had a horseback delivery service, but I’ve ordered stuff online from sketchy Chinese companies that has come to me across the ocean by boat, fine through Customs and still arrived faster then these hats. And it’s not like the shipping is free. I can’t figure it out, the hat likes like 4 days to start moving, then gets stuck for days at a time in different places across the country. In fact I’m waiting for one now that I ordered on the 5th of July. It’s currently sitting in another part of my State with Fed Ex where it’s been the past 5 days. No delivery date and no movement. I’ve had this issue with most of my hats from them, and my friend just had the same issue with his Melin that took a month to arrive. Maybe this isn’t a Melin issue, maybe the shipper. But I order stuff all the time and use FedEx a lot and never have these issues.
Worth the wait though.”
“Life. Changer! My husband came home with 3 and a bucket hat for our daughter. They loved them so much we went back the same day and bought me 2 for our vacations to Florida and Hawaii. They are comfortable and have tons of styles for everyone. BEN at the Fashion Island (Newport Beach) location is a total jewel and we appreciated him going above and beyond for us. Our family is 6 Melin hats deep and will be swapping out all of our other hats for these only!”
“I got attacked by a dog today. Bit twice. A whole lot of blood. Not only did my hat stay perfectly on my head, but very little blood got on it thanks to the thumb holder. 5 stars for attack proof head wear”
“This was my first experience purchasing a Melin hat. At first I was somewhat apprehensive about my purchase, considering the price of their hats. By no fault of Melin, FedEx initially lost my order and was no help at all with customer support. I then contacted Melin customer support and was amazed at their willingness to resolve the issue, by sending me another hat via overnight delivery. Eventually my first order showed up, the box was crushed and taped back together by FedEx, to include assembly parts for something . I was amazed to see the hat endured FedEx's abuse to include the jammed in parts, and kept it's form. After delivery of the replacement hat, a member of Melin's customer care team called to confirm I had received the item. When I offered to return the replacement, I was told to keep it due to the problems with my initial order. Definitely, Melin values their customers and the quality of their product is well worth it's cost. I'll absolutely be ordering additional hats from Melin!

“Well the hat is of decent quality for sure. I am just confused as to the price and the new lines being released constantly. The price is laughably high. With regards to the new lines that come out weekly??? I mean its the same hat in a different color??? Its like the Tacoma stating it been redesigned every year since 2015 to 2023. “Best hats you'll ever wear. They last forever and clean up real nice. Only "issue" and it's more am OCD thing for me is the sizing is a littler larger than what you might be used to. I have an average head and fit most average sized hats but the classic size is a little too big for me so I have to go with a small. Their customer service is also top notch.”

“Expensive hats that don’t fit as described and the company doesn’t stand behind the descriptions. No refund available. Apparently after they marked the cap as final sell, it certainly didn’t say that clearly (if at all) during my purchase process. Stay away from the over priced hack hats. The hat received not only didn’t fit, it was substandard quality, for the price I expected a well constructed, good fitting product. Unfortunately, it’s neither of those. Zero stars.”
“My husband is obsessed with Melin hats because they are the only hats that fit his large head. They are excellent quality and look sharp. He has 7 different colors of the trenches icon hydro fit in the xl. When he was out of town, I decided to look into their 2 year warranty because one of his hats started to separate the material from the cardboard. I am even more impressed with Melin customer service than I am with their already excellent product. Within a day, they had two replacement hats on the way. I can’t wait to surprise my husband because they replaced his favorite one! Thank you for the help, Karl and Kim. You have earned another loyal customer.”
