“So this is not a paid review or anything like that.. I bought my first hat all black just to see if it was worth $60 and if it wasn’t I was gunna return it.. by far the best hat you will ever own. Comfortable, quality, look are all second to none.. I use to buy new era hats at $35-$40 each and probably needed a new hat every month maybe 2 max. I can see this hat lasting forever like literally in 20 years still wearing it, may not be fresh but it will hold up.. unbelievable to find such quality on a Facebook ad lol.. about to buy my second one now, think I wanna get one in ever color and the little hidden pocket inside is dope too”
“I’ll admit that I was a little skeptical of a $60 ball cap with such big claims, but after a few weeks of owning it, it’s holding up to the sweat I put into it pretty well. I’m generally not a fan of snapback caps either, but this hat fit very nicely. Looking forward to see how it stands up to a wash soon”
“Melin makes a nice hat, but they only offer it the two larger sizes. Their other hats come in three sizes, but Trenches Icon (flat bill) doesn't. Which is too bad, it would end up being my favorite hat if that was the case.”
“Working from home caused a few new habits. Like. Wearing a hat on client calls. But not any hat. If you’re not going to spend the time to style your hair to sit in your basement office, better wear a hat that doesn’t look like you just cut the grass. The quality, the materials, the finishing touches the feel and the crisp look all work together on the trenches hydro that maintain a professional look that you could also wear anywhere – and then back again on a work call with no one away you didn’t store this great piece of headwear in a hat box.”
“As this is the 'deepest' hat, I was hoping it would have the depth to come down close to my ears... similar to the way a 59FIFTY New Era fitted hat fits. It does not. I'll still use it once in a while, but it's not the holy grail workout hat that I was hoping for.”
