“After purchasing my first Melin a year or so ago I knew I'd never be able to go back to the mediocrity that passes for "quality" at the mall and the like. Exquisite attention to detail, unmatched durability & industry leading comfort make Melin the only brand in headwear I'll spend my coin on. Specific to the Trenches Americana, boy am I glad I got one before they vanished. The subtle differences between it and the standard Trenches Hydro are fantastic. I was apprehensive about buying a WHITE hat, as I've had nothing but poor experiences with them in the past but figured if anyone could produce a mostly white hat worth the price of admission it would me Melin. They delivered, I work in mine, building pool tables in a hot, dusty, dirty 80,000 square foot
manufacturing plant 60hrs a week. When I notice it's getting a bit on the dingy side I take all of 5 minutes under the faucet with some Dawn dish soap followed with a little time to let it air dry and it's legitimately indistinguishable from the moment I unboxed it. If you're apprehensive about dropping the paper on a Melin product, take my advice and pull the trigger, you can thank me & Melin later.”

“I’ve got a decent size head (not huge though) and me and a few of my friends have Melon hats and we love them. But they’re a bit shallow. They always sit a 1/4-1/2 inch above the ear which feels shallow. That’s the one critique.”
