“I got this hat specifically to wear surfing to provide some extra sun protection for my face. And it works as advertised. It’s comfortable, keeps the sun off my face and floats well. I’ve tested it several times both in the ocean surfing and swimming in a pool, it is a great hat for water activities. The only negative is I wish the brim had a little bend or kept the bend if you put one into it. Otherwise great hat.”
