“My head is huge and it is next to impossible to find decent hats that fit. The main problem is they never sit deep enough and can look like a beanie on the top of my head. This hat is better than most, but could still be more deep for my tastes. However, the circumference of the hat is impressive. I have more than enough tabs to expand it out further, which you just never see. The quality of materials on the hat are top flight and it does give you a feeling that you are getting what you paid for here because I find this hat to be on the expensive side. But I think the quality of materials can somewhat be its downfall as well. The hat is hot and is the hottest one I have compared to all my other hats so you sort of have to take the good with the bad here. Ultimately, I do like the hat and I wouldn't consider returning it so that should tell you something, but I do think there is some room for improvement.”
“This is my second Trenches hat, and I love them both--but I really wish there was more selection in XL. I would have gladly picked up any/all of the limited-edition colors that came out earlier this year, but the Classic size is too tight on my head, so I wasn't able to. Over the winter, I wanted a Kingpin, and failing that thought about picking up an A-Game Thermal, but the Spruce color is also Classic-only. I love the Odyssey style, but no options in my size. Even getting my Maroon Trenches XL took months of waiting and checking the site, because the first restock of XL colors sold out almost immediately.
I can't speak highly enough of the quality or fit of these hats. I'd love to pick up another in different styles or colors...if I could.”
