“It's shame - I really wanted to like this hat but it's just comically large. For reference, I'm like a 7 1/8 in a New Era fitted and often wear the wildly popular Richardson snapback with "all holes filled" positioning on the snap back. I needed to cinch this down two extra holes for it to fit my head....which of course makes it look stupid in the back. Why such a large circumference? Why not offer a S/M size for those of us who do not have giant coconuts? I've looked at the other models, and all but one appear to have the same standard circumference (i.e. way too big). If you guys ever offer the Trenches or even the A-game Hydro in a smaller circumference, I'll be back. Otherwise - guess I'll have to stick with Richardsons.”
“I was a bit skeptical given the price tag, but this is the best fitness hat I've owned. I run, play tennis, and hike in it. It holds its shape, doesn't develop a weird smell, and is easy to clean. Worth the price.”
“Great river hat! Worn out all my others and had to electrical tape the plastic strap on my old hats cuz my head so big. Not with the XL. Water repellent to the max and totally dig the hidden pocket. Would have given it five stars if it was a little deeper. Having a big head most hats don’t sit down past my earline including this one. Bummed but still rock the crap outta this hat. Thanks guys!”
