“Bought a few Odyssey hats over the last 4 months. They have lived up to the high price point for the most part, although not one of the 3 I’ve ordered has fit the same way (a little annoying). So I decided to try the A Game. Immediately noticed that the brim is weirdly small, especially compared to the size and depth of the crown. Like I said, maybe I just got an irregular bc I have received Odyssey’s that were off, but if not, the A Game design is not right for me”
“Hat is made out of a very thick material that feels strong and durable, however it is not built for running. Also, the sizing adjustment band on the back is plastic, which is not comfortable to run in, especially for someone with a shaved head. Compared to my Lulu Lemon running hats that are light weight, breathable, and great for running, this hat is really for style more than anything. A bit disappointed as it felt like it was falsely advertised. I’d suggest going back to the drawing board if you want to appeal to runners and lighten the materials, and make a soft adjustment band before advertising as a all around workout hat!”
“Love the fabric and look of this hat and expect it to last a long time. It's a little too tall from top to bottom for my liking and the sides put pressure on my ears when I position at the ideal spot on my forehead. 1/4 to 1/2 inch shorter from top to bottom, and this would be 5 stars, at least for my head.”
“I love my new hate. I have a few Melin hats (way more than my wife wants me to have) but this is the first time I ordered the A-Game. I use my hats mostly for boating and wake surfing but my new hate I have been using for hiking in the off season as well. I can’t wait to get back on the water with my new hat.”
“Great looking hat that is also really functional for surfing! Kept the tropical sun out of my eyes and off my face and 95% stayed on my head even for a few turtle rolls. Lost it a few times but it popped right up and floated so I could grab it easily.”
