I bought this primarily because I kayak a lot and wanted something that I could dip in the water and then put on my head to cool down in the beating sun. This hat would also be great for traveling, beaches and pools, etc. It does seem to run a bit large, so be sure you measure your head first. I wouldn't say I have a small head but I bought the classic fit and wear it at the tighest setting, which suprised me.”
