If you’re buying it because of the thermal aspect, then I don’t recommend it. I don’t think it offers enough insulation to be called a thermal. Melin makes other hats in same style that offer more protection. I think it’s because of the materials used to make it. But nether less, it’s a fantastic hat. Well made and constructed. Worth the price as well. I have bought 7 hats total so far and I will keep buying them.”
