“I have several Melin A-Game hats, but this one really takes it to another level. The quality and attention to detail are amazing. The denim is a really cool dark blue color with a unique look that will likely age and patina well over time. Also, I love the copper accents and the flannel lining. The patch on the front is different than I was expecting, but really cool..it is similar to the brown patch above the back pocket on your favorite Levis; adding a cool, broken-in, vintage look to the front of the hat.
This one fits ever-so-slightly shallower in the front than my other A-Game hats, which I love, because there is less empty space in the front above the forehead. It's just now getting a little cooler where I live (60s and 70s versus the brutal heat of the summer) and I've already taken a few chances to wear this -- It's nice and comfy without being too hot (awesome for Fall and early Winter). In the old days, there was more of an emphasis on quality headwear that would last for years. In a sea of cheap, throw-away ball caps, Melin is continually stepping their game up and bringing us back to the good old days of quality headwear for any occasion. This one is pricey, but worth it for sure!”
