“I like the hat. It’s significantly heavier than their normal hats but it’s a no surprise since it uses different materials for heat retention. The leather brim and the strap feels nice to touch and the hat does feel “quality”.
One recommendation to Melin: with thick brim such as the thermals, I strongly recommend the brim come from the factory pre-bent. No matter what I do(unless I permanently crease it) the brim goes back to its normal state. One less thing to think about if it already comes pre bent from the factory.

“I bought this for my husband for when we are in the mountains in CO! I cannot comment yet on the warmth of the hat, but by the materials and the way it is made, I think it will be a nice alternative to a stocking cap if it is not windy.
