“I wear a 7.5 fitted hat, which the size chart said wold be a Classic size. It sits way too high on my head, even though the strap was in the middle'ish peg. Before it arrived I noticed REI had Melin hats and was able to try them on. The XL fit like I want it to fit - deep, like a trucker shold. So if you have a large head and feel like most hats are too shallow, size up. The XL makes a noticeable difference in depth.”
