I was vising San Diego and purchsed my first Odysea at Hotel Del Coranado mens shop, the sales guy explained they came in three sizes which hugely appealed to me as most ball caps are to big on my narrow head so I never find any that look good on me, when I tried an Odyysea in size small my wife immediatley said Wow, I love it! She never ever said this about any hat I tried on. After buying this hat and wearing it for a week straight, which was the longest I ever wore any hat besides my Marine Corps Cover I had to find the Melin Store to buy more. I found one in Newport Beach Fashon Island, we drove up and spent an hour, the sales guy Trevor gave me a whole lesson/ background on these hats, recomended I try on a few differtn models to compare and 4 hats later I now own a total of 5 and Love Them! Would love an option when ordering if we could have our Military Logo added to the back of the hat above the snap back area like Eagle, Globe & Anchor adn same for other branches of the military or perhaps Make America Great Again! The fit, quality and durbilty of these hats are far superier than any hat I have seen. I work in the Oil & Gas Industy in Texas and I am telling you we would buy thousands of these hats to give out if we could add our company logos, guys in TX love hats. Melin, thank you for taking care of our Military & Vets, ooooh-rah from the Texas Marine

Most money I’ve spent on a hat, but it’s worth every penny. Very comfy and built well.

WAS A LITTLE WORRIED I MAY NOT LIKE HYDROLITE MATERIAL AS THESE HATS AREN'T CHEAPEST. BUT MELIN AGAIN SHOWS UP WITH QAULITY. IF YOU THOUGHT THE TRADITIONAL MELIN MATERIALS ARE AMAZING FOR OUTDOORS THEN YOU'LL DEFINITELY LOVE THE HYDROLITE.

Nice fit, good quality but not cheap. I wouldn't mind spending that kind of $$, even a little more if it we'er made here in the U.S.A.

I have a smaller head, so this lower profile style is great for me. It's also comfortable and cool, especially for Houston. My fitted size is a bit smaller than a 7, and the small is perfect. The hats are great, but I'm not so sure why they cost so much. It took FedEx 2 days to deliver it to me once it reached my area (this is consistent...not just this time with Melin). UPS has multiple metro sites, too, but they manage to get my shipment to me early or ontime while tranfering to other local sites--even with the same shipping class and terms. FedEx ruins the experience. I know this has nothing to do with the hat, but Melin needs to know. I'm not the only person who has complained.

The sizing and shape are true to what their website advises. The construction and materials appear to be premium… which is what I was aiming for. I’ve only had a few days of wear, so not a long term review. I’m expecting the hat to give a long life. Time will tell. I’d like to see more creativity and variety in designs. Hopefully the product line will expand as the company scales up. 100 bones is a lot to ask for a hat. You can get 2-3 basic trucker hats for this price point. I’m a buyer (obviously). A little love on the price for multiple purchases would be nice. I have 3 hats at full price. I’m a skier. Would love to see some creative ski stuff. Maybe partner with J Skis and some non douchey areas like Arapahoe Basin, Steven’s Pass, Fernie. Just my two cents.
