“This hydrolite has a super clean design with no stitching! I have a few other melin hats that are black, and I sweat more than anyone I know, so I was really happy when I was able to just rinse them off and give them a light rub down and the sweat stains came out. I love white hats though cause they are great at reflecting heat and I play golf. So I need that on the hot sunny days. I was hesitant though because of how white hats seem to be a magnet for getting dirty. I mean the smallest piece of dirt or grease residue can ruin its crisp clean look. And well I bumped my head right on the crown the other day and it left a black mark. I tried using water with a tad of soap, and it didn’t fully pull out the small mark. It got most of it, but it kind of just made the stain lighter and larger. Spreading it out. So I went with another trick (I erase and clean products as part of my job), I used plain magic eraser. And with the smallest bit of rubbing effort, it is back to looking brand new! I’m extremely stoked about this! So I had to jump on here and leave a review. Hopefully melin sees this and tries out this little trick. It’s a game changer imo!
Note on size and fit: I wear a 7 5/8 fitted hat, which is the limit for classic size in their size guide and also a very annoying size head when shopping for hats. I think I could go with X-Large and snap it down a few notches. Cause while it fits, it’s a tad snug on my giant noggin. I’ll probably go X-Large on next purchase. But no complaints.”
