“Sweet hat! I really wanted the Odyssey hydrolite, but it's been sold out forever. This hat is the next best thing to the Odyssey in my opinion.
This hat is so freakin light weight, I totally forget I'm wearing it. As for the flat bill, I shape it once in awhile and it's been holding it's form after a few weeks now. I just wished it came in an extra small for the pin-heads as myself. If you are on the fence like I was, you won't regret buying this hat!
I would give this hat 5 Stars if it was i tiny bit smaller or if there was an extra small to choose.”
“Purchased my black Coronado Hydrolite a week before my 10 day trip to Kona Hawaii starting on 11/01/24, the hat came fast (like a few days after ordering). The hat is stealth, very lightweight and looks amazingly sharp!
During my trip I went snorkeling 4 days and flipped the hat backwards to block sun on my head, worked awesome in the ocean and for some short free dives to collect shells & exploring. Once back at the hotel I would gave it a quick rinse and let it dry a little on the balcony then back on my head it went.
We are runners and every evening (9 evenings) we would run 3-4 miles through town and back around to the Marriott and hat worked great keeping sweat off of my face, another quick rinse and balcony dry out then back on my head for evening activities.
I’m wearing the hat as I type this review and it looks as new as the day I received it which is incredible being I would have basically thrashed any normal hat by the second day of vacation? sweat stains for sure and a soggy disfigured bill at the least. I love this hat and so does my GF, so much so that I had to fight over it until eventually we found a regular black camo Coronado hat in a surf shop that had an 808 on front along with the Melin badge (it’s another sharp hat but just a little heavier weight ) she loves it and so do I.
I did order a regular Coronado in gray that’s not my color after trying and will be returning for an exchange hopefully? and folks thats how you buy 3 Melin hats in the month of November lol. Im 5’9 & 180 lbs, the regular size fits perfectly and this is a nice low profile flat bill hat. I we will for sure will buy more in the future (maybe more color choices and sold sold sold), absolutely money well spent.”

“I own a few Melin hats (Pace and Trenches) and bought the Coronado Hydrolite, not sure if it would be deep enough for my head. I was very pleasantly surprised - this is the most comfortable hat I've ever owned! It's a great fit, and I've even forgotten it was on my head. HUGE fan. 5 stars. 10/10 recommend.”
