“This is my 3rd Melin hat and I’ve had QC issues with 2 of them. This one came with scratches on it that were pretty noticeable. I’m usually not very picky but if I’m gonna spend almost $100 one a cap I will only accept perfection. Currently in the process of having it replaced. Besides that, I love these caps. It’s an $80 hat, don’t go running, swimming or mud racing with it. Use the cheap stuff for those occasions. Use common sense.”
“I have 20+ melin hats and this is honestly my favorite colorway yet. The Everglade Camo looks even better in person and goes with everything. Same amazing quality and comfort melin always has, but this one stands out the most in my collection. Definitely worth it.”
“Yes. Im an electrical contractor in Florida and have always been a "hat guy." Over the years, the Florida sun and the sweat have defeated every hat I've owned in under 6 months when worn regularly. That is not the case with Melin. I purchased my first Melin hat a year ago and have not looked back. The quality is incredible, the fit is perfect, and they clean up so well they look new. I get asked almost weekly if "they're worth the money" and the answer is undoubtedly "yes." I now own 7 total (6 Coronado Hydro and 1 Odysea hydro) and unless I'm repping a sports team hat, I'm wearing a Melin hat every day.”
“Some scuffs on the front of the hat just above and to the left of the logo... I was able to massage most (about 80%) of it out. But, for a nearly $100 hat after taxes, they shouldn't have any scuffs/flaws.”
“I’ve been eyeing Melin for while. Price was the main concern.
I finally mustered the courage to buy one and then tell my wife (she was fine with it).
Very happy with the purchase. Clearly high quality materials, and love the little rubber thing on the bottom of the visor - nice touch!
My only thing is I have a big head. Born that way. I finally found a brand (Legacy) with a deep enough crown to fit my big melon (see what I did there?) and I got super accustomed to that.
This hat and its fit is a little shallow for me, so I find my self trying to adjust it constantly. I’ll probably get used to it. I should have paid more attention to the specs before purchasing - so that’s on me.
I’d definitely buy a other!”
