“For the price it’s gotta be worth it and with the melin you can tell quality is good, fit is great and the little thumb holder on the brim is gold, my only negative I see is that the black color tends to hold onto oil from skin as well as the sweatband gets sweaty REALLY fast even on a not hot day that’s big since the whole point of the hat is to keep u dry and cool, I would give it a 7/10. Looks 10/10

“Love the collaboration with Olukai and the Ohana theme. Been looking to get a Melin hat for a while now since a buddy of mine has been raving about them.
I originally ordered a Classic size but since I have a small head, the hat fit too big. Luckily Melin has a great replacement policy so I was able to return the classic and get the small within a few days. Hat fits great. If I can make a measurement comparison, I estimate the classic at smallest is like a snap back baseball hat at like 2-3 tabs open. The small at smallest is like 0-1 tabs open. The depth of the classic was a little too deep where my ears folded down a little where the small fits just right.
The hat is really built well with high quality material. Solid structure and stitching, where it feels thick and hefty but its light weight and comfortable. I sweat a lot! I go through hats a lot because of the sweat stains. Every beach trip, new hat because of salt water stains. So far, several weeks in the sun, one beach trip, and the hat still looks new. The moisture beads off, no sweat stains. I can clean this hat where any other hat would get destroyed.
Initially I thought whoa an 80 dollar hat, you’re out of your mind! But after weeks of everyday use, I highly recommend Melin. It’s worth every penny. Instead of buying hats all the time, I will now have a few Melin to swap around.”
