“We were visiting Honolulu, Waikiki specifically, with our 12 year old granddaughter and happened on this hat store called Melin. I was just browsing and liked the styles of the hats on the store. My granddaughter said that they were cool so I tried one on with the help of the young saleslady. The saleslady explained how these hats were different and that they actually floated in water. I had just lost a sentimental hat surfing earlier in the day so I was very interested. Anyway, I asked how much they were selling for and she said around $80.00 US dollars! I about laughed out loud. I actually had bought two hats earlier, one at RIP Curl and one at Kai Hawaii. So this was a going a bit excessive for me. I told her I would think about it and come back tomorrow.
