MGI Ai 500 Reviews

4.9 Rating 7 Reviews
I've used this device for a few times on both flat and hilly golf courses, and found it to work well, the benefits such as downhill control, braking & parking, it can climb slopes of about 30 degrees with the support of the rear wheel, I can adjust the speed to match my walking speed, and start up default 4 but can be adjusted from 2-8. According to the advertisement, the battery lasts for 36 holes, but only on flat courses, I played 18 holes on flat course the battery used 42 percent. I tested it on a hilly course with about 7 holes being hilly and 11 relatively flat, and the battery was used 65%, meaning it wouldn't last for 36 holes on hilly courses, but that's fine for me as I usually only play 18 holes. The GPS has off about 3-5 yards, but it can be calibrated on the screen. I purchased it with the optional seat, which is very convenient & comfortable; I really like it. I rated all of these 4 stars, plus 1 extra star for the good communication and quick responses via email with the sales/support staff.

It's winter and I have only been able to use my AI 500 once, it worked perfectly and was easy to operate.

MGI made big improvement on Ai 500, compared to X1 I used for four years. First the balance is much better because of the battery and the front wheel positions. Second, speed control dial is more reliable, and it keeps the same speed even on downhill. Third, GPS is helpful to check what is ahead on the course and easily measure distance of my shots. ( I still use a phone app to keep scores for continuity ) All these improvement comes at the same price as four years ago. Thank you MGI for keep making great products.

Very good cart and works as advertised. GPS does drain the battery it this is expected. Overall a great cart and value.

I like the cart. It takes some getting use to, especially opening and collapsing the cart for transportation/use. Doesn't seem intuitive. One thing that I wish was possible would be to be able to set the speed of the cart when the button is pressed. It defaults to 4 which is barely a crawl. I walk faster than that and am constantly turing the dial up. It would be nice to be able to set the starting speed based on personal preference which can't currently be done.

Great! Quiet/plenty of power and the GPS is easy to read even in bright sunshine.
