“It works, but its not great. The only bottle that works with this attachment is the MGI bottle. It's too small to hold the bottles they use at the golf course, so if you lose or break the bottle, you have to buy a whole new attachment. Would be so much easier to grab and use the bottles at the golf course, but instead, you have to keep refilling this one. Also, there is no cap to this bottle, so you have to be careful to not let it not tip over in the car. Again, far easier if you could just leave the bottle at the course.
There are no instructions as to how to mount this. It's not difficult, but takes a bit to figure it out. Also, the way it attaches is pretty flimsy. Not sure how long it will take to break, but can't imagine it lasting long. In addition, you don't just drop the bottle into the holder like the ones you use on golf carts. You have to line up a small flange into a very small slot. Not the worst, but it shouldn't be this difficult.
I got mine on sale for $35, but the shipping is $20. Just seems pretty expensive for not much, but once you buy the cart, you are kind of locked into their accessories.
Agian, it works, and I love my MGI cart, but the design and cost of this attachment makes me wonder.”
“Not user friendly. The golf courses that I play all provide filled sand bottles throughout the courses. A simple sand bottle holder, which attaches to my Zip Navigator AT would be very useful. I had a sand bottle holder attached to my previously-owned MGI Quad Navigator and I miss it terribly!”
“A sand bottle is an absolute must option for me. However, the plastic flange the fits to the cart base seems a bit weak, any I'm concerned about it breaking. The location at the base of the cart requires bending low to access and replace the bottle which is a bit inconvenient for someone over 70.”
