“Gearbox Problems: Grinding noises, handle display stopped recording distances and buggy started turning in a jerky fashion.
I ordered a new gearbox (was told the gearbox was not a warranty item plus recent price increase). Took almost 2 weeks to arrive but when installed, it solved all the problems and buggy ran like new.
Disassembled the old gearbox. Some of the sealed bearings were bone dry (ever greased??) and the center rotating piece that counts the revs was broken in 3 pieces. This obviously was the cause for the lack of recording and turning problems. I hope the new one is more robust.”
