“We need help to assemble as it is heavy. The wood feel s smooth, which is important, but there are some cracks in the table top and it has a hole in the top, which we didn’t want. It’s too much trouble to return so we’ll stick with it.
And hope it goes together easily.”
“If you research the type of wood used to make this bench you'll realise it's of a very high quality. I ordered the round edges just to avoid any sturdy edges and it did not disappoint, it looks so chic! I managed to build this picnic by myself watching the video, it was quick and easy and they even supplied the drill heads for screws which was really handy. Excellent communication for delivery. Can't fault this company or product. Plan to have this bench to pass down the family over the decades.”
“Well made solid picnic table easily seats 4 people 6 at a push. Most impressed with the sturdiness of the table. The seats have 3 panels and there is absolutely no give when you sit in the middle. I can see this table lasting for years. Pays to go the extra mile for the quality. One small gripe, the hole for screws have not been drilled deep enough so will require further drilling upon assembly. Otherwise I'm very pleased with the product”
“We ordered the 5ft size picnic bench. Delivery was within stated time, great communication from seller. The delivery guy, Mark, was helpful and we had arranged for him to construct the bench in the garden. He did so with no fuss, took him all of ten minutes! He was friendly and took away all packaging when he left.
The bench is really solid and sturdy, beautifully rounded edges, treated for weather conditions. It’s going to be used and used because it’s great to sit on and the perfect size for six. Benches are three planks wide, not the cheaper two planks that you see on so many picnic benches. As a result it’s very comfortable. I’m really pleased that we chose this one. It definitely looks built to last!”
“I was horrified when my wife announced she had just purchased an MG Timber A-Frame Heavy Duty Wooden Picnic Table. I immediately checked all the reviews and was slightly reassured. It arrived within the promised delivery slot. The delivery man could not have been more helpful. When I checked over the timber, all the comments from the reviews came back to me. It was indeed good quality, better than I imagined it would be. Within hours of it arriving we were sitting at it having lunch. Believe it or not, that is all the bad news. The good news, my wife paid for it out of her account... result. Did I need to be horrified? No. Would I recommend this product to another horrified husband? Definately.”
“Product quality is great. Very sturdy. I've had 8 people sat on this table and it was solid. I had the assembly service which was well worth it. It looked relatively simple to assemble given the size (7ft) but it would have been difficult to do on my own without the relevant equipment. Delivery and overall experience was excellent. Definitely recommend.”
“We’re very pleased with our purchase! It’s a really sturdy piece of furniture which should last. It’s very comfortable and the rounded edges are a great idea for children. Delivery was prompt and well communicated and an extra shout out to the lovely Mark who battled the wind and rain to assemble it, superstar!!”
