“Really sturdy construction with heavy duty timber, absolutely no bend or flex when you sit down. All the edges have been nicely sanded to make it comfortable to put together and use. Seller sent out decent assembly instructions before delivery. Definitely worth spending just a little bit more for a much better product.”
“I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am with this picnic bench. I ordered the 8 seater. It took me about 15 minutes to screw it all together on my own and everything I needed (including screwdriver bits) came with it. No problem at all lining predrilled holes up. All my neighbours have admired it and are thinking of purchasing for themselves. It’s superb and I love it!! Even my cat & dog are making full use of the shade it provides. “A very solid, well-made picnic table. Easy to put together - see video link under Q&A - and instructions sent by email. Staff responded very quickly (by email) to my question on how long to wait before staining (answer: 2-4 weeks after delivery).
I applied 2 coats (with a 3rd on the table top and seats) of Cuprinol clear Garden Furniture Stain and then 2 coats (wet on wet) Osmo End Grain Sealing Wax to the feet, edges of seats & table and any other end grains.
To keep the feet off the ground (and out of the wet) and to protect the wood from splitting on being dragged across the patio, I attached Sayayo Non-Slip Rubber Feet for Garden Furniture Chairs, Floor Protector Pads 22MM*22MM, supergluing together a strip of 3 before screwing them in.”
