The first one l bought 3 years ago (6ft long) and l have treated it twice with Ronseal garden furniture protector clear natural. It is still in excellent condition and is left outside in all weather's and not covered. I needed a second picnic bench,and bought the same one but 7ft long. Very nice bench and took about 10 minutes to assemble on my own.
I can honestly say, to spend that bit of extra money on a quality bench can save you spending more in a couple of years on another cheap one.

One of the star headed screws had a deformed head of only half a star which was a pain to drill in, would be good if they have a spare couple for scenarios like that. But great bench I'm happy.”
