“I had it set up and looked at a flower within 5 minutes.
I have worked with stereo microscopes before and I find the OPTICO ASZ 100 easy to use and sufficient for my use in botany/Id of plants. So far so good-it sits ready to use next to my laptop and also has a dust cover which is important to have when not in use.”
“I cannot rate them for their function because they have not yet been unpacked and assembled (see previous response). I did notice the instruction booklet and struggled to understand it due to scratchy translation (e.g. place microscope on a "lever" surface instead of "level"). From memory, the cleaning hints were also suspect but I'd need to re-read after the microscopes are unpacked by the kids. Overall, I'm sure they will serve my purpose. [PS as a retired scientist, I do miss my own access to a stereomicroscope. I probably should have sought one of yours out a decade or more ago!]”
