The focus knobs, for example, have that smooth "buttery" feel that cheap instruments lack, and there is not the slightest hint of drift. The controls are well located and easy to access. The brochure emphasises that the instrument was designed for comfort, and I don't dispute that, but thanks to arthritis I prefer to view the slides on my PC monitor, and I find this very successful.”
