Choose the action that the pros use! Impact Precision is the most popular action among the top 100 shooters in the Precision Rifle Series since 2018. Impact shooters have won 7 out of the last 8 Precision Rifle Series Golden Bullets as well as both of the IPRF Centerfire World Championships. We are super proud that our actions have won more 2 day PRS matches since 2019 than any other manufacturer. Don't settle for pinned rails or recoil lugs. Their receiver body is a made out of one single piece of material, ensuring the most rigid end product with no chance of warping or your rail coming loose when you need it most. Impact Precision's main focus is supplying our builders with our products. However, we pull a small percentage of receivers back each month to sell from our store. We are genuinely appreciative of your interest in our products! All 737R actions are cut to accept both AW mags and AICS mags! The 737R is a short action. Cartridge length not to exceed a short action magazine (2.960") if you are wanting to use as a repeater.  737r weighs 36 ounces. Use the .308bf action for the following calibers: 22 Creed, 22x47 Lapua, 6 BR, 6 BRA,  6 Dasher, 6 GT, 6 BRX, 6x47, 6 Creed, 6XC, 6SLR, 6.5x47 Lapua, 6.5 Creed, .308 Win. This is not a complete list of calibers that the .308 bf uses but we have listed these in an effort to answer any questions you may have about which action/bolt face is right for your build.  This Action has a 75 Degree Bolt.

I recently picked up an Impact 737R action with the .308 bolt face, from Mile High Shooting, for a 25 Creedmoor build. Shipping was fast and efficient, however, after getting everything put together and torqued to spec, I encountered an issue with the bolt not closing. I know these actions have a solid reputation, and I’m hopeful this issue is an isolated one. The build quality of the 737R is top-notch. It’s a solid, smooth-feeling action that boasts excellent machining and fit. The aesthetics are clean, and everything feels precisely engineered. The overall design is what you'd expect from Impact, and I was excited to get it to the range. The issue I encountered, however, was pretty frustrating: When I put a barrel on it and torqued the action to the recommended 85 ft-lb, the bolt refused to close. It seemed as though the action was binding in some way, making it impossible to close the bolt properly. I thought it may have been an issue with the barrel or the way the tenon was cut, so I contacted Jake at Gravestone Precision Shooting (where I bought the Barrel), he got me in touch with Brian at A-Team Precision, (the barrel manufacturer). Brian sent a shipping label right away to send the barreled action to him for evaluationand repair. He found that the bolt was the issue, sent videos, checked it with go, no-go gages and replaced my bolt with one that worked, and all that in only 5 days from shipping it out to getting it back. (I am very happy with Gravestone and A-Team customer service) I did not reach out to Mile High or Impact’s customer service team, since Jake at Gravestone and Brian at A-Team took care of the problem, therefore, I cannot say that their customer service was lacking in any way. I'm sure, given the opportunity they would have handled it promptly and properly. Once all that was taken care of and I was able to get some range time in, The rifle shot extremely well, and the action felt buttery smooth. I was really impressed once everything was sorted. The Impact 737R is an outstanding action in terms of build quality, design, and performance when everything works properly. That said, the bolt binding issue when torqued to spec was a real hiccup in the process, and I can see how it could be a major inconvenience for some. While the customer service from Gravestone and A-Team Precision was excellent and they were willing to take care of the issue, it’s a little frustrating that something like this slipped through quality control in the first place. If you're looking to buy one of these, I’d still recommend it—just be aware that you might run into some minor issues that require some attention. Hopefully, future batches will have tighter QC to avoid this issue.
