Mel’s Buffalo Check Wallpaper - Pale Blue - Roll Reviews

Read Milton & King Reviews

Mel’s Buffalo Check Wallpaper is a plaid style design featuring large blocks formed by intersecting bands of colour. The style was made famous in the wild west because of the popular warm fabrics from Scotland that were traded with Native American tribes. It eventually became synonymous with hard-wearing, durable clothing and lumberjacks like Paul Bunyan. In more modern times, the flannel style has become popular in haute couture. The plaid design also makes for a versatile wallpaper style using a cross-checkered pattern in pink, blue, grey, green and black & white colour options. It’s a perfect addition to bedrooms and nurseries and is suited for both masculine and feminine spaces. It has a lovely, simple yet rustic appeal.

How did you install the wallpaper? I hired a professional.
How would you rate the installation process? Very Difficult
This paper is absolutely beautiful. I posted photos saying the HAPPIEST paper I’ve installed. I’m a designer by trade and have used more papers than I care to think about BECAUSE I AM OLD. My installer (a third generation hanger) said it was a very tough paper. It would shrink from the time the first strip was hung to the time the third was hung enough to reveal an 1/8th inch of primer. She’s a serious perfectionist and rehung and eventually did an overlap hoping it would be even with mixed results. It isn’t an overlap/trim paper by virtue of the pattern but we were both disappointed as the M&K brand is one of my favorites.
