“I selected the Magpie wallpaper in Black. When it came, it was just as beautiful as I imagined. The birds are vibrant, stark, and contemporary. I will say, the background color, depending on the light source in your space, has a tinge of purple, but we stuck with a black and white color palette so it worked either way. The paper is applied with the adhesive. It's actually easier to apply with adhesive than the pre-stick peel and stick wallpaper by other brands. I applied it slowly, in order to make sure I had enough adhesive on there, and was able to add more as I smoothed the paper from top to bottom. The hardest part with the DIY part is lining up the images so they are even and flush. I suggest ordering enough paper so you are able to make sure the paper matches up. We painted our ceiling a high gloss black, including the thick crown molding, and the paper pops up against the shiny black ceiling. We also hung a simple round black mirror on the paper, and painted the baseboards the same high gloss black. I noticed a day or two after install that a few corners had peeled back a bit, but it was a simple fix. I just added some adhesive and stuck the corners back on. The wallpaper is thick and smooths out really easily. I didn't encounter many air bubbles as I was applying the paper to the wall.
The print is just so unique, different and vibrant, I would choose Milton and King over and over again when it comes to jazzing up any space!!”
“We just installed 5 rolls of the light blue color way in our basement and it looks FANTASTIC! It was a breeze to install and it made our space feel so polished. I really like the design and color. It would look great in most any room, depending on the styling. Super HAPPY!”
