All booked out for 2026. Available at this stage in 2027/2028: 15th Jan to 1st Feb 2027and 29th Oct 2027 to 1st mar 2028, 30th Apr to 1st June 2028, and 3rd Nov to 1st mar 2029, I'm more than happy to pencil in approx dates and fine tune as we get closer to departure.
67 year old ex public servant and property manager, who seems to get on with all pets. Stay at home type, so will always be there for your pets. Single, non-smoker, non-vaper, dedicated and I wish I had discovered pet sitting years ago. Double-vaxxed and double-boostered. Travel in a 7 mtr long, 3.5 high Toyota coaster, so there needs to be room to fit that in, on the street, if necessary, but I stay in the house with the pets. I have been pet/house sitting continuously for over 7 years. I believe that my reviews reinforce that my main concerns are the well-being and care of pets and property. If there is a vehicle available, I am more than happy to drop off and pick up from airport/cruise terminal/other.

“Charles was wonderful at communicating with me from start to finish and left the place spotless. Most importantly, all my animals warmed to him straight away, as you could tell he was a natural nurturer. It was so lovely to go away with peace of mind that they were being well looked after. Would definitely recommend Charles and would love for him to return to our place, as would the fur babies.”

“Right from the 1st contact Charles made it a priority to get to know my dogs and make them feel comfortable with him. He was thoughtful and caring and comforted the dogs through several storms. His interaction with them made it easier for me to leave and his follow up with photos of daily activities was greatly appreciated. I can highly recommend Charles as a service provider of an extraordinary level.”

“Excellent quality care provided. I’m very happy with Charles’ house and pet sitting. He has a calm intelligence which put me at ease from the moment my partner and I first spoke with him. Our pets are very chilled, but used to interacting with humans all the time. Charles has quite an extensive knowledge base on pets and their various requirements - which was exceptionally reassuring for me, having a veterinary nursing background. Our pets loved him from the moment he entered the property, and he was able to ensure they got all the attention they required. Not only would we love to have Charles look after our place again any time, but our pets would certainly love a catch-up cuddle and walkies as well. Thank you so much Charles - you put my heart at ease so we could really enjoy a week off.”
