This unique model is sculpted with it's mouth wide open. The hand-painted markings and detail on this figurine are very high in quality and realism. It even has a baby in it's pouch! Fun facts about the mammal: The thylacine is likely to have become near-extinct in mainland Australia about 2,000 years ago, and possibly earlier in New Guinea. The absolute extinction is attributed to competition from indigenous humans and invasive dingoes. CollectA 88767 Thylacine Female Tasmanian Tiger, Released 2016. “This is a beautiful figure. But i just wonder why it is made with the figure about to give birth. You can see the baby tail coming out of the womb.”
