CollectA Paraceratherium Deluxe Reviews

4.8 Rating 6 Reviews

The CollectA Paraceratherium Deluxe is a great male model of the large, land-dwelling prehistoric herbivore. It is sculpted in a walking position with its front right leg raised in mid-step. Its body is painted predominantly grey with sporadic patches of course, red hair. This model is beautifully detailed all over its body, including textured fur, wrinkles to indicate movement and dusty lifestyle, and its unique facial features such as its alert ears and short, muscular nose trunk, similar to its distant relative, the modern Tapir. This prehistoric figurine makes a great addition to your prehistoric collection.

“This is a terrific model and is appropriately larger than my other prehistoric mammals, as it should be. My onlne research indicates that some people have complained about the reddish hair, and it does seem a bit odd. The very best figure I have seen to date is an absolutely massive model by ITOY, which the company introduced in 2020. It only seems to be available for purchase by Chinese sellers on eBay but I would love to see it on sale at Mini Zoo, if you can keep the price within reach. See my diarama featuring the CollectA model.”

“This one is big! A heavy, beautiful model modelled in a very fascinating style, with speculative fur and trunk. A much needed figure for lovers of prehistoric mammals!”
