I'm a new painter, and I started with Citadel and Vallejo. They are good paints, but the speedpainter is quick and convenient and look just as good. Highly recommend trying them out.

I haven't painted a mini in 15 years. I wasn't good then either. This paint is so easy to use, and it makes you look like you know what you're doing. I'm not going for show quality here, I'm just looking to get some color into my games, and these paints are perfect for that. I'm sure that someone with more skill can get much more out of these than I do, but I'm extremely happy with the results I've seen so far.

Excellent paint range to have to get models painted quickly and easily. Perfect for beginner painters like myself.

Easiest paints to use, results are great. I like to use them as a base coat to make the following steps easier, but many times that one coat is all you need.

Take some getting used to, especially how much to apply, but I like the potential of these paints. The brush is pretty decent quality, too. Watching some reviews and tutorials helped a lot!

This is what I needed to put large numbers of figures on the table at a decent "arms length" painting standard. I knocked off 1 star for the color selection including rarely used colors like orange and purple requires me to go buy common colors like white and black separately.
