The Galaxy's Most Wanted the second campaign expansion for Marvel Champions LCG.Not every villain is content to contain their schemes to a single parochial planet - some have much more cosmic ambitions, unleashing their evil against the countless worlds of the galaxy. If you're ready to leave Earth behind, it's time to fuel up the Milano, grab that guy's arm, and blast off for the stars! It's time to team up with the Guardians of the Galaxy and take your games of Marvel Champions onto the galactic stage. You can play each of these scenarios individually or bring them together in an epic campaign, and with seven modular sets, there are opportunities to mix up all of your other scenarios. What's more, this campaign expansion also introduces the first Guardians of the Galaxy heroes to the game, with fully pre-built and ready-to-play hero decks for Groot and Rocket Racoon.Ages: 14+Players: 1-4Game Length: 45-90 minutesThis is not a stand-alone game. Another great expansion to one of the best designed and richly thematic collectible card games out there. Rocket and Groot offer some fresh fun and strategic variety. The new villains seem a bit more challenging than previous sets, but with such a large selection cards available to build decks from now, this didn’t surprise me. There’s a sizable community of players and deck building resources out there, it’s fun to try new builds and strategies when there are new nasty villains to fight.

I've only played through the first two scenarios, but I can tell you that this expansion adds several new elements that I really like: * They had me at the theme: I like Guardians, I like Space Opera. The theme is a slam dunk for me. * Adding "victory points" to the campaign (which you can spend on deck upgrades) makes each scenario more engaging, and forces you to choose between spending resources on winning the scenario or pushing for more victory points. * The whole "spaceship battles" element is handled lightly and abstractly, but I like it. * Groot and Rocket are both really fun characters, and the mechanics of their cards fit their theme and personality well. A couple things to keep in mind: * I think the pre-packaged starter decks enclosed with the expansion are pretty weak. They have some great cards, but not in the right proportions. I smashed my head against the first scenario playing with both starters a half-dozen times and lost every time. Then I changed up their aspects and rebuilt their decks, and sailed to victory. So if you're looking for a simple "pull out the starters and win" experience... well, good luck. * These scenarios are pretty challenging. In addition to losing that first scenario 6+ times with the starters, I've lost the second scenario twice with my rebuilt decks. I think this is a feature, not a bug... I find it much more rewarding when the scenarios are tough to beat, especially when I'm diverting some resources towards scoring victory points. Anyways, I think it's great. With the wide variety of campaign upgrades you can buy, I see myself replaying this came more frequently than "Rise of the Red Skull."

I haven’t played through the campaign yet, but just for the two heroes (and storage space) this expansion is worth it. Both heroes feel like the characters and have very fun gameplay.

It's got groot, it's got rocket, what else do you need? All joking aside the villans in this pack are tough as nails and the most unique by far. Can't wait to run another campaign once I have the full group !

GMW is harder than previous expansions, but lots of fun. Groot and Rocket are my two new favorite characters to play, and the challenge of the harder enemies to play against is welcome. If you are a beginner I would wait to pick this up until you play previous sets, but veterans of Marvel Champions will enjoy the variety in this expansion. I recommend it!
