Enforce the Might of the Empire! The Raider-class corvette was designed to support Star Destroyers, employing close-range anti-fighter weapons such as powerful ion cannon batteries and retractable twin heavy laser cannons. The modularity of its armaments and its ability to operate independently for long periods of time resulted in many of these ships being utilized as Outer Rim patrol craft or being posted in a more prestigious role as heavy support for covert missions. This pack includes everything you need to add one Raider-class corvette and one TIE Advanced to your game. The Raider adds a fierce anti-fighter platform to the Imperial fleet, featuring iconic Imperial villains like Grand Moff Tarkin and the Emperor. This pack also contains a branching campaign of missions, following a Raider that is set with testing out the new TIE Advanced. In addition to these cinematic missions, Imperial players can field the Raider in Epic Play format, allowing for massive fleets to face off in a large-scale space battles!Contents:1 Rulebook1 Mission Booklet1 Raider-class Corvette Ship1 TIE Advanced Ship2 Large Plastic Bases2 Plastic Extension Pegs1 Plastic Base2 Plastic Pegs1 Raider Ship Token4 TIE Advanced Ship Tokens1 Raider Maneuver Dial1 Raider Maneuver Template1 Huge Ranger Ruler- Range 1-3 Ruler Section- Range 3-5 Ruler Section- 2 Pairs Plastic Connectors16 Energy Tokens2 Target Lock Tokens (MM, NN)12 Shield Tokens4 Ion Tokens1 Focus Token1 Evade Token1 Reinforce Token1 Stress Token1 Campaign Progress Sheet13 Mission Tokens1 Reference Card10 Fore Damage Cards10 Aft Damage Cards8 Ship Cards- 1 Raider-class Corvette (Fore Section)- 1 Raider-class Corvette (Aft Section)- 1 Juno Eclipse- 1 Zertik Strom- 1 Commander Alozen- 1 Lieutenant Colzet- 1 Storm Squadron Pilot- 1 Tempest Squadron Pilot34 Upgrade Cards- 4 Advanced Targeting Computer- 4 TIE/x1- 1 Proton Rockets- 1 Cluster Missiles- 1 Captain Needa- 1 Grand Moff Tarkin- 1 Emperor Palpatine- 1 Admiral Ozzel- 2 Shield Technician- 1 Gunnery Team- 1 EnginneringTeam- 1 Sensor Team- 2 Single Turbolasers- 4 Ion Cannon Battery- 2 Quad Laser Cannons- 1 Tibanna Gas Supplies- 1 Engine Booster- 1 Backup Shield Generator- 1 Comms Booster- 1 Assailer- 1 Instigator- 1 ImpetuousThis is not a stand-alone game. The Raider is a beautiful model, so there's value beyond the game play. The ship is nearly the perfect answer to the Tantive IV that the Rebels have. An added TIE Advanced is just icing on the cake. And as usual, Miniature Market has the best price going for this expansion. The box includes some interesting upgrades (Emperor Palpatine, anyone?) and is sure to add another level to your gameplay.

This ship alone can take on a fleet. Takes a lot of skill to run but with some practice is an excellent add on.

This ship just looks awesome!!! It is a nice answer to the Tantive IV and love the additional TIE advanced. Even when not in play it just looks impressive on display.

Not only does this ship look awesome.. but the true star wars fan has to appreciate something else important: It's the first ship designed with and for Fantasy Flight Games X-wing game. This ship did not exist in the EU previously. But they needed and Imperial answer to the Tantive IV. And the ship looks awesome. It packs quite the punch in firepower as well. Many interesting upgrades as well.

BEAUTIFUL ship. As a model collector over player this was a no brainer. Not a whole lot to look at as far as tiny details (like the corvette or reb trans) its just pure sleek and deadly imperial efficiency! The cards included for the TIE Advanced are pretty nice as well ( I do try to play a little) and the extra TIE just adds to the value. My group doesn't really do epics (yet) but when I grab a big ship I try to come up with my own custom scenario. Haven't done one for the Raider yet but when I do I will edit review to share with the group.

I don't play epic all that much, so while its really cool looking and probably performs well, the Raider in this box won't see much use. The TIE Advanced however needed some love and the upgrades in this set help bring it more inline with the rest of the game. Its just hard to justify the $70 to fix the Advanced.

This is a must buy for either the Imperial player or anyone who wants an awesome-looking ship for their collection. It adds a new dimension to Epic Play, has some nice upgrade cards, and will help bring the Tie Advance back into the game. It does cost more than a few $$$, but Miniature Markets helps soften the blow to your wallet. Buy it!
