1/300th Scale ScaleThe Fairmile B class Motor Launch weighed in at 85 tonnes and 112 feet long. Crewed by 16 men it could make in the region of 20 knots through its 1200 hp petrol engines. “Historically, these gunboats grew out of the need for a heavier weapons platform than the MTB. The Fairmile B ML 145 is a nice addition to your RN fleet, and is nicely armed to blast away at those German ships that oppose them. While it doesn't have any torpedoes, that's OK< as it's meant to hunt the smaller boats that would be immune to them anyway. My only complaint is the Holman Projector. This odd British anti-aircraft invention is very cool, but I can't find rules form them anywhere is the Cruel Seas book or Close Quarters.”
