I don't know what they did, but the Fangs and Talons set, and now the Boneyard set are of higher quality than previous sets. Really like the boneyard set and how general the undead theme is, I will use these in so may campaigns, not specific to one book.

I stopped collecting DnD minis at Rage of Demons because of the brittle plastic, bad sculpts, bad paint jobs, frustrating flight bases, tons of broken minis, and chase invisible figures, but it looks like all of those issues have been fixed. I was very pleased with every aspect of these minis, and none were broken! Down from 18 broken minis in 2 bricks of Rage of Demons. Plastic is softer, bases are a nice hard clear plastic, flying minis are prebuilt (probably the best improvement), and all the sculpts and paint jobs are standout. I hazard to say these are better than even the WotC days.

I do like that the zombies and skeletons of different races are represented. This set does one of the better jobs of the common miniatures being common mobs in game. The biggest issue I have with this set is the heavy miniatures are not packaged well such that they cause damage to both themselves and other miniatures in the box. Certainly you can apply for replacements from Wizkids but a little more care would have made that necessary.

I was very pleased with the Boneyard booster brick I purchased. So many undead miniatures to bolster my hordes. Great paint jobs, and the clear bases allow players to appreciate the terrain underneath.

I have recently found some luck in getting bricks of minis from Miniature Market. Whether it be my Nightwalker pull from the Fangs and Talons set, or my Sibriex pull from this set. The minis are wonderful, whether you get a group of all commons or get some of the nicer rares, this set doesn't disappoint. My personal favorite from my draw was the Elder Black Pudding, but hey... they make me all oozy inside ;D I did a unboxing review here: https://youtu.be/QQlXnZQ-Eg0 Feel free to check it out!

With each new set, icons of the realms prepainted miniatures get better and better. Every campaign of dungeons and dragons needs a few undead and this set is made for that. Whether you want variety in your plain zombies or something huge to scare your players like an undead T-rex, this set is a must have.
