“I have suffered from chronic back pain for decades! Nothing worked. After using this therapy belt for just a few weeks I can tell a tremendous difference. I also lay in front of it to get my face as well. Red light therapy is amazing!”
“Ok, so I have not even received this product yet but I wanted to share the positive info about my research on the product and company so far and will update the review with experience/results after I try it out. I spent over a month researching similar available products and could not find anything with even half the power & specs as this belt. And those products were same price or only marginally less than this one. This one contains 405 LED lights with both red and NIR spectrum, where everything else I found across the internet in my search had less than 200 lights, few were wireless, or offered the variety of therapeutic spectrum I needed. With the military discount this belt was actually same price of better than some of the other belts with less than 1/2-1/3 the power and upgrades as this one. I chose to start with this belt before I upgrade to a MitoPro panel, because I need to spot treat some orthopedic injuries affecting my mobility first (impaired ability to stand or sit for any length of time). I've gotten good results with incandescent NIR bulb spot treatment and LLLT at the PT office with expensive professional machines, but it's very cumbersome and painful to contort myself under lamps for long treatment times. This belt will offer more comfort & flexibility to reach odd angle treatment areas in the hips, pelvis, low back, inner knee, arms as well as an LLLT "off label" experiment area I'm working on. It will also keep me much more compliant with treatment frequency since I can shift positions, move around and work on other errands while doing more frequent treatment sessions. I was also impressed to find out this is a small USA based family business with a legitimate, vested belief in holistic health, not just some big corporation only interested in gobbling up market share. A+ for MitoRed & this belt so far.”
“I have several of the Mito Red lights and was excited to get the belt. Unfortunately it didnt come with clear directions and after a month I still havent used it. I tried YouTube for some direction and then I called the company. Both were unsuccessful! I know it sounds silly and that I should be able to figure it out, but there are several cords and I cant figure out which goes to which. Please, someone, come up with a 1 minute YouTube explanation and show and tell.”
“We like the convenience of the belt and it seems to work well, but is confusing and difficult to use. We bought this in addition to the Mito Pro 1500 primarily for travel. For starters, the instructions do not match the unit. The instructions show a USB and another plug and the unit itself has no USB. There are 2 plugs and you really don't know what to plug where and how to charge it. Maybe color coding would help. It seems you have to turn the switch on, but unplug the unit from the belt so it is not on while charging the unit. The instructions are just about worthless. I had to call tech support initially and he had to read his notes to tell me what to plug where. The cords seem extremely long and get tangled up. It has extra velcro straps and we don't know what they are for. My partner just always plugs the unit into an outlet, since she can't figure out how to charge it. The remote doesn't seem to work as a timer and intensity adjustment, so she gave up. A minor observation, but we feel the belt could be a little bit longer to make sure it covers where you need it, We think the unit itself is a great idea, but the kinks weren't worked out when they started marketing it. She feels the unit works well when it is on. I might wait a little while till they figure it out before purchasing.”
“I really like this belt but it stopped working! I was send a new charger but it still doesn't work I need a new belt, I hope an employee from the Co. Reads this and tell them of my problem.”
“I was experiencing hip pain that a steroid shot from my doctor didn't quiet help. after weeks of continued pain, I heard about red light therapy and started investigating the supposed benefits. I read two books about it, read several Internet articles, and finally decided to try a light my friend had. OH, MY GOODNESS! Whatever doubts I had left along with my pain. I ordered the red light belt and three more for family members, They all have used it and will tell you that it works, In fact, my oldest brother and his wife came from Lubbock today on their way to New Braunfels. They stopped in Abilene to eat lunch with us, and my sister-in-law told me they packed the red light for the trip. Neck pain, hip pain, muscle soreness, stiff neck, knee pain, sprained wrist, post-operative healing, circulation -- these are all things for which my family has used their lights. My hip is still dandy, and my family members are delighted with their results, as well. WooWoo! And thank you!”
“Yes, there were some confusions in using this device at first, but I had no trouble figuring out how to use it. I think the main confusion is how to charge and use the battery. The battery manual is outdated as it mentioned a USB port for charging. There are now two input/output connectors on the battery and you can use either one to charge the battery. Just make sure the battery is turned to the On position or it will not charge. The charging status will be shown as red (charging) or green (charged) light on the charging cord plug/head. if you want to use the remote to select the time/strength, just plug in the remote in between the belt unit and battery pack using the extra extension connector that is included in the package (see pic). Again it doesn't matter which input/output hole you use for this. I find that this red light therapy belt is nice when you want to focus on treating the shoulder and hip area as it is flexible and can be wrap around your body. It is also portable and convenient to bring along when you travel.”
