Love the phone, I keep getting texts from o2 saying I’m out of data - but my o2 app says I’ve got loads left. Always use mobiles.co.uk, excellent service

awful network coverage with 02. No internet, calls are fuzzy and messages won't send. Told to go to the Carphone Warehouse store.

A very good replacement for my iphone 6S which had reached the stage of constant battery charging

This is my fourth iPhone in 9 years, and I am not proud of that fact. As MacBook and iPad owner I have become an Apple slave. I didn't buy this phone for any other reason than it's just too bloody difficult to escape from the Apple OS prison, something the worlds most profitable company has worked very hard to engineer. The phone itself is OK, but experience would indicate that it will only be a matter of months before it becomes slow and battery intensive, like the iPhone 6 it replaced. For a device 3 generations newer, it offers very little innovation, in fact nothing new that I need or want, just a few gimmicks designed mostly to ensure I maintain my iMusic account (I won't), buy more apple licensed products (wireless earphones, fast charger, wireless charger; it's all just an incredible exploitation of loyal/stupid/lazy customers. I even have to buy more storage on the iCloud, as iTunes is so useless now, this was the only way I could transfer the data from my old phone, which was anything but a slick process. Unless Apple massively up their game, this will definitely be my last iPhone, in fact I kick myself for not taking the plunge with the Google Pixel 2 this time around. The inconvenience of transferring onto a new platform could not have been much worse than the frustration of getting this device working properly.
