“I rarely buy a phone. In recent years all my phones have been second hand. I decided to buy a new phone in the hope that I can keep it for a few years to come. As a person born in the 1950s it never fails to amaze me that new technology doesn't seem to last that long - and the prices are unbelievable. However, I digress. The iphone 12 Pro Max is a nice looking piece of kit. I thought it would be hard to get used to but it has all gone quite smoothly. When I don't know how to do something, I can simply google it. I'm sure most six year olds would know what to do - it is the 60+ that may need some help. I am happy with my purchase. I had an issue with apps "waiting" and not loading properly, however after some googling I managed to resolve the issue. I have not resolved the issue of the camera not making a shutter noise when I take a photo, but it seems many others have the same problem. I lost recent messages from WhatsApp. I don't know why. Googling has not given me the answer.”
