Screen is bright and scrolling is smooth. It has a real premium feel to it before it gets put in a phone case.

“I found the screen to be too small for my needs especially as the stock Google launcher is not very efficient at using the full screen real estate. My previous phone was a Samsung S20 Fe and the Pixel 8 was not big enough of a step up to get me excited. The inbuilt AI features seem either gimmicky or readily available through existing apps which will also become more powerful and refined over time. Cameras are ok - but they all are really unless you're after an amazing experience but then you'd get yourself a DSLR.
In summary-I followed the hype, read the reviews got a great deal actually through Mobiles.co.uk but was disappointed in the phone.”
