“Very pleased with this device - I'd previously tried the Pixel 5 and 7, and found both to have various issues (camera problems, bluetooth connectivity ect), but finally with the 9 Pro the issues are getting ironed out.
I did find with connecting to Wifi I had to split the band channels in my router (5ghz and 2.4) otherwise it refused to connect properly, but this was the only issue I really had and was a fairly easy solution for me.
The smaller size of the device for a 'pro' version with the additional camera and power is great, I have small hands and giant '+' phones are unsuitable so this device is ideal. The camera is the main feature I use on a phone and this one is outstanding compared to my previous samsung S22.
I do not care at all for the inclusion of AI assistants, but luckily disabling Gemini in the setup options was easy and not pushed on you repeatedly like I expected.”
“The Google pixel 9 pro is a great phone. It has had some upgrades and is now more like a Samsung in regards to usability. The camera is fantastic and I'm glad I went for the upgrade of the pixel 9. Haven't had a chance to use all of the functionality of this phone but so far very pleased”

“Went for this phone for the camera and 'clean' android experience without the bloatware of other companies and on those fronts the phone is excellent. Performance is also quick and feels much smoother than my old Poco X4 pro 5g, the smaller phone size makes it less noticeable when carried in a pocket which is nice. However the way the fingerprint sensor fails as soon as you're out of full light is very annoying, it's somewhat mitigated by face detection but that doesn't work when you're using the phone in the dark. I've been told the mic quality of my calls has improved by those I call however I've noticed the call audio seems much more tinny.
Altogether I'm happy with the phone but whether I'd recommend it would depend on how annoying you'd find those drawbacks.”
“The Pixel 9 Pro is a brilliant phone, as it has all the features of the 9 pro XL but in a small package which is great for your pocket. Personally I love the pixel phones as there isn't any bloat wear on them and the camera provide brilliant quality images and videos.”
