Designed in 1951 by Hans Wegner, the teddy bear chair is another example of a Wegner chair design pushing into new territories of modernism. Our Wegner inspired Papa Bear chair is larger than others you will find on the market. The standard wood finish for the Teddy Bear Chair is Genuine North American Walnut Hardwood finished with a Dark Stain, 16-step wood finish that includes three PU/PE top coat applications.

“What a wonderful chair! It’s the most comfortable chair or sofa I’ve ever sat in! So cozy. I pulled a little muscle in my upper back yesterday (no big deal) but sitting in the chair I don’t feel it at all. Really really beautiful. Perfect. I gave the delivery people a few of your masks and had them put one on before they came in the house. They had their own (of course) but yours were so much nicer and made me feel more secure.
