“Wanted to wait and use them for a few cycles before I reviewed to give them a proper test.
First off, the positives. They arrived really quickly, and I liked the eco friendly cardboard packaging. They feel very comfortable. I was expecting them to be bulky and annoying like a pad, but they're not. They're noticeably thicker than regular underwear, but once I get used to wearing them, honestly I forgot about it. I wasn't too fussed about how they looked, since they're literally just there to catch my blood, but they do look nice. The main positive is losing that horrible nappy feeling that pads gave. They're also very absorbent. When I did have a particularly HEAVY heavy flow I did manage to leak through them in about four hours, but this was an extremely heavy flow and I've never had this problem again. I could wear one pair all day, but I usually change mid day just to avoid any chance of smells. Granted, I've never actually noticed any smell whilst wearing them, but this just puts my own mind at ease.
Now, the not so positives. The washing is a big commitment. It took me a while to figure out how to get them 100% clean. The instructions on the packaging are a help, but since I've gone down the route of hand-washing these (Since I don't trust my washing machine to not ruin them), it does take a while. Sometimes the initial cold rinse doesn't get everything out since it can be hard to judge if the water is 100% clear, which does also make it a bit more time consuming. Initially whilst I was still learning how to get them clean, sometimes I'd have to wash them twice as once dried I'd notice a bit of a metallic, almost burnt smell? This isn't a product fault really, just a case of a bit of a learning curve with the cleaning. They're not too bad to get dry, but since their whole purpose is to hold liquid, it can take a while sometimes, which isn't ideal if you don't have too many pairs. Which brings me onto the second negative - The price. They are very expensive for what they are. Do I think it's worth the price? Yes. Do I wish they were a little cheaper? Yes. I did get them at a slight discount but it still cost me £100 for five pairs. This is quite a significant upfront investment.
As much as I've ragged on them (Pun intended), I do love these, I think they're great. I love no longer having the nappy feeling that pads gave me, I like knowing that I'm no longer contributing to the ridiculous amount of plastics going into landfills. Nothing's ever going to make me look forward to my period, but these certainly make it a lot more bearable.”

Really pleased with the service, which was swift and efficient, and the products which look lovely, are good quality and incredibly comfortable to wear. I am a size 14 and these fitted perfectly. Washing seems very straightforward. I will reserve full judgement though until I see how well they last. A really worthwhile investment.”
